From Spreadsheets to "Love Bombs": What I’ve Been Up To Behind the Scenes

If things have seemed a little quiet over here at Salty Shower Co. recently, it’s because I’ve been deep in the "lab"—but not the kind with test tubes and minerals. I’ve been back at school!

I just wrapped up two intensive Kick Off In Business courses: one on the nuts and bolts of Starting Up and another deep dive into the world of Digital Marketing.

To say my brain is buzzing would be an understatement. I’ve gone from feeling like a founder with a dream to a founder with a plan.

The "Spreadsheet Horror" (And My Big Epiphany)

If you know me, you know that "Data Entry" is not usually my middle name. I spent a good chunk of the last few weeks staring at spreadsheets—and honestly? At first, it was pure hell.

But then, something clicked.

I had a genuine mind-blowing moment when I realized that these grids and formulas aren't just math; they are the heartbeat of the business. Understanding my costings, my margins, and the "why" behind the numbers has given me a new level of confidence. For the first time, I can see exactly how Salty Shower Co. is going to grow and thrive.

Coming Soon: The "Salty Love Bomb" 💣✨

One of the best parts of the Digital Marketing course was the explosion of creative ideas. I want to share the Salty experience with the world in a way that feels organic and joyful.

The working title is the "Salty Love Bomb" (okay, the name might need a little polish, but the heart is there!).

The plan? I’ll be leaving "Salty Notes" all around the South West for strangers to find. It’s a little piece of positivity tucked into our local corners. If you find one, the hope is that it brings a smile to your face and maybe finds its way onto your social media to spread the love even further.

I’m so excited to get this started and see where these little notes of kindness end up.

I have learned so much, but the biggest takeaway is this: I am ready. I’m ready to stop planning and start sharing Salty Shower Co. with all of you. The mission remains the same—to turn your daily shower into a mineral-rich ritual—but the engine behind it is now officially tuned up and ready to roar.
